OVER 750 people packed into the Gosling Sports Park on Saturday night as WGC Boxing Club hosted its second live show in less than six months.

And again, the evening's entertainment was an undoubted success.

Sixteen bouts were on the bill, with 12 featuring home boxers, all of whom displayed bags of determination, enthusiasm and talent.

In attendance at the show were former British Champion and now head coach at Finchley Boxing Club Sean Murphy, and also ex-Stevenage hitter Andy Straughn who fought a memorable bout against Johnny Nelson back in 1989.

The club are now planning to arrange a dinner show following this, and the October 2008 success stories.
