Garden City Runners (GCR) claimed the third-place trophy in the women's team category at the Standalone 10k last Sunday.
Emily Owen, Jess Timmins, Hannah Frank, and Jess Plant powered through the challenging course to secure the podium position.
Emily Owen was the standout performer, finishing as the second-fastest woman overall.
Jess Plant's performance was particularly commendable, as she only recently returned to running after having her second child.
Jess Timmins said: "It's a rather challenging route, resulting in serious questions about your life choices between 7 and 9km.
"Thankfully there were still some smiles once we got our breath back at the end!"
Bernie Barnaby also had a successful race, completing the 10k in 42 minutes and 14 seconds.
This earned him an age-graded score of 83.7 per cent, placing him 13th age graded overall and making him the top age-graded GCR.
