AFC Welwyn moved closer to promotion from Division Two of the Spartan South Midlands League with a 1-1 draw against Old Bradwell United.
They could have taken all three points after Kendall Ata Gyamfi put them in front in first-half stoppage time.
However, after skipper Jack Bradshaw had been sent off on 90 minutes, Bradwell found an equaliser in the seventh added minute through Shaun Ennis.
Welwyn came out of the weekend still top, three points ahead of Newport Pagnell Res but having played three games less.
Codicote are third, five points behind, but they are the ones who have a game in hand on Welwyn.
The two sides met on Saturday in the Division Two Cup with Welwyn this time benefitting from a late goal.
They had led twice through another Gyamfi goal and a Scott Bridges penalty but Cod twice fought back thanks to Liam Hayden and Michael Moss.
However, Joshua Pykerman pounced three minutes from time to send Welwyn into the semi-finals.
Hatfield United inched another point closer to safety in Division One of the Herts Senior County League with a 1-1 draw at home to Bovingdon Res.
United were kicking against a strong wind in the first half and found it difficult to get shots on goal.
Jimmy Talbot went close with an effort that went narrowly wide but they were also grateful to keeper Andrew Spencer for a smart save at his near post, keeping the score at 0-0 at the break.
Five minutes into the second half, left-back Charlie Woodward went very close to putting Hatfield ahead, the ball smacking the upright from distance, but six minute later they did get their goal.
A free-kick on the edge of the area was floated over the wall by Talbot and deflected into the net to put Hatfield ahead.
Chris Gray almost doubled their lead but his header was blocked behind but the last quarter of the game belonged to the visitors, and they got a deserved draw six minutes from time from the penalty spot, scored by Ben Davis.
