Herts Phoenix had three athletes involved in the UK Athletics Indoor Championship.
Held in Birmingham, Hannah Williams picked up the best result, winning bronze in the 200m in a time of 23.77 seconds, having clocked a season's best of 23.60 in winning her semi-final.
Ellie Bandy made it to the semi-final of both the 200m and the 60m, something she has never done before, placing eighth overall in the 200 in 24.34.
However, she came up against a problem that only affects female athletes and hopes it can soon be overcome, or at least improved.
She said: "I had to overcome mental and physical challenges that were intensified during this competition due to it being that time of the month - being on my period.
"From negative thoughts to crampy hamstrings and heavy and shaky legs, periods add that layer of complexity to competing which should be discussed and researched into a lot more.
"I’m very happy with my performances all things considered."
Khai Mhlanga also made the final in the 1500m, just missing out on a medal by coming fourth.
