Hatfield United U12s turned in their best performance of the season with a 6-0 thrashing of Bishop's Stortford Rangers.

The match played in testing wet and windy conditions on Sunday, saw United on top from the first whistle.

Bobby Impey and Jayden Ahimie bossed the midfield while James Sibanda helped himself to two well-taken goals.

Max Kwok meanwhile hit a superb long-range effort for the second week running and an own-goal plus a brace from the excellent Ezra Opoku completed the scoring.

Skipper Impey was named man of the match although it could have gone to any one of the squad.

United's first team were without a game this week and have slipped to fourth in Division One of the Herts Senior County League after wins for Harpenden Town Res, Baldock Town Res and Apsley Argyle.

They return to action on Saturday when they host Bovingdon Res.
