WELWYN & District Bowls Club had mixed fortunes in two matches scheduled during the past week.
Away at Radlett playing five mixed triples, Welwyn won on three rinks with an overall score of 85-74.
The top scorers for Welwyn were Peter Carter, Nancy James and Ted Webb, who won 20-11.
At home, Welwyn took on Whitethorn on three men's and two ladies' rinks.
The ladies won one each with the score being 45-31 to the away side.
The Welwyn men won on one rink and lost of two, with an overall score of 68-53 to Whitethorn.
