HATFIELD Town made it four league wins on the bounce last night as they defeated local rivals Hadley 2-0 at the South Mimms Travel Stadium.
Goals from Matt Standen and an own-goal from Rhys Tyrell saw the Blueboys claim the three points in the South Midlands Premier Division encounter.
Since taking over the reigns since Trevor Lloyd departed as Town manager, caretaker duo Gary Ansell and Kev Pearman, assisted by Gary Doctor, have collected maximum points, and scored 10 goals in three games.
Ansell has, however, told the Welwyn Hatfield Times that he does not want the job permanently.
Next up for Hatfield is the FA Vase First Qualifying Round where they travel to take on Sawbridgeworth Town.
