Police would like to know if you have, after three youths were stopped pushing a shopping trolley full of lead strips in Ludwick Way, WGC.

The lads were arrested on suspicion of theft, at 5.45pm on Thursday.

They have since been released on police bail while officers try to trace where the lead has come from.

Pc Dan Harman, investigating officer, said: "We are very keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a lead theft recently or who has lead missing from a roof or building."

All three youths arrested were from WGC. Two were aged 16 and the other was aged 17.
