Young boy taken to hospital after Welwyn Garden City fire

Firefighters and paramedics were called to a fire in a second-floor flat in Welwyn Garden City.
A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew and two fire crews from Welwyn Garden City were sent to the fire in Gaddesden Grove at 10.51pm on Wednesday, October 26.
The fire was out on arrival, but a young boy was treated at the scene by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
He was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further treatment.
The firefighters left by 11.23pm.
