WYCOMBE Wanderers have signed former Potters Bar Town goalkeeper Ashlee Jones.

The stopper, who played for the Scholars under Steve Browne, has signed a loan deal with the League Two promotion hopefuls until the end of the season.

Jones has impressed the Chairboys' ex-England boss Peter Taylor enough to be offered a short-term agreement.

While with Bar last season and the early part of this term, the 21-year-old former Southampton youth player made no secret of his desire to return to the professional game.
