Wounded man transported from Welwyn Garden City hospital

An ambulance crew had to transport a man from Welwyn Garden City to Lister Hospital after he suffered a series of wounds.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “An ambulance crew attended QEII Hospital at 1.48am on Saturday to a patient who had gone to the urgent care centre who required emergency care.
“They treated a man in his 20s with wounds to his leg, arm and stomach.
“He was taken to Lister Hospital for further treatment.
“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
