A WOMAN was tied to her banister as three men raided her house.

The 61-year-old, who lives on St Albans Road West, opened her door after the bell rang at 8.30am yesterday (Monday).

A man claiming to make a parcel delivery was then joined by two others, who forced the door open and then tied the woman to the banister.

They then proceeded to steal a substantial amount of money from around the house.

Police are now appealing for witnesses of the robbery, which occurred between the Comet Hotel roundabout and the Ellenbrook Lane junction.

Three men were described to police as white, with two of the men wearing beanie hats.

They were seen speeding off in a white cubby van.
