A WOMAN has been taken to hospital this morning (Tuesday) after her car flipped in a village.
The 34-year-old was trapped in her silver Peugeot 307 after the accident, which happened at 7.35am in Newgate Street Village.
Gary Sanderson, ambulance spokesman, said paramedics took the woman to the QE2 Hospital, in WGC, with back injuries.
Two fire crews, from Hatfield and Potters Bar, attended the accident which was cleared by 9.10am and led to the junction of Tylers Causeway and Newgate Street Road being closed for over an hour.
