Woman taken to hospital after three-car smash in Hatfield
A woman was taken to hospital after three vehicles were involved in a collision in Hatfield, causing a road to close during rush hour.
Police received a call at 5.23pm yesterday to reports of a three-vehicle crash on South Way, Hatfield.
The incident involved a Nissan, a Skoda and a Volvo.
The ambulance service received a call at 5.18pm and sent a duty locality officer and an ambulance.
A woman was taken to hospital for further treatment.
An ambulance spokeswomen said: “There was no serious casualties.”
The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene, and was reopened at 6.32pm.
All the vehicles had been recovered by 7.15pm.
A police spokeswoman said: “The incident has been recorded as damage only.”
