A WOMAN had her bag stolen while out shopping in a supermarket in WGC.
The 56-year-old, from WGC, was in Morrisons in Black Fan Road on Saturday when her bag, containing cash and a passport, was stolen off a shopping trolley.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft which occurred between noon and 1pm.

* THIS Saturday there will be a purse chain event in WGC town centre to help prevent pickpockets and purse dippers.
Pcsos will give out free chains, which fix purses to handbags, in Waitrose from 11am until 1pm and the Howard Centre, from 2pm until 4pm.
