A WOMAN was attacked by a group of youths who pelted her with snowballs.
The 23-year-old was then pushed over by the hooligans in Selwyn Drive, Hatfield, yesterday evening (Thursday).
After being thrown to the ground the woman, from Hatfield, had to fight off the gang when they tried to steal her handbag.
The youths ran away empty-handed.
The woman was not injured in the ordeal, at 6.30pm.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Call 0845 33 00 222 with information.
