One person has been reported to the Crown Prosecution Service for driving without due care and attention following a crash.

Police were called to the Moors Walk junction by the shops in Panshanger just before 5.55pm yesterday.

The road was left partially blocked after a Nissan Almera and Vauxhall Corsa were involved in the collision.

Police closed off the road at 6.15pm.

A woman, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was taken to Lister Hospital as a precaution.

It is believed that she suffered slight injury.

A police spokeswoman said: “One person [driving the Corsa] was reported for driving without due care and attention.

“The incident was all dealt with by 8.45pm.”
