A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a crash near Welwyn this morning (Monday).
Digswell Hill is currently closed in both directions between The Red Lion pub and the BP garage, following a collision between two cars just after 9am.
A woman believed to be in her 50s had to be cut from the back seat of a car, and was taken to the QE2 Hospital in WGC with minor injuries.
Another woman, who was driving the other vehicle, was uninjured.
