A woman was hospitalised after a collision on the M25 near Potters Bar


A woman was taken to hospital after a collision near Junction 24 for Potters Bar.

The ambulance service were called at 11.58am today after two vehicles were involved in a collision on the clockwise carriageway of the M25.

Two ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene between Junction 24 for Potters Bar and Junction 25 for Enfield, as well as an ambulance officer and a hazardous area response team.

A woman was safely extricated from her vehicle and suffered minor injuries. She was taken to North Middlesex Hospital for treatment.

Two lanes were closed on the clockwise carriageway, but were reopened by 1.30pm.

The fire brigade also attended the crash.
