A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being found unconscious at a home in WGC.

Paramedics were called to a property in Timbercroft at around 12.30pm yesterday (Sunday), after the woman, in her 50s, was found in a “serious condition”.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was also called to the scene, landing in nearby Black Fan Lagoon to assist crews from WGC and Stevenage.

Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The woman who we believe to be in her 50s was found unconscious and in a serious condition and due to this, the East Anglian Air Ambulance was called upon to assist the land crews already at the scene.

“Following rapid treatment, stabilisation and immobilisation the woman was taken by land ambulance to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further care.”
