Witness appeal over M25 death crash

A witness appeal has been launched after a death crash on the M25 this morning, which caused to 20-mile tailbacks.
Officers asked for help to piece together what happened in the crash, which claimed the life of a 37-year-old man near Potters Bar this morning (Monday).
A Hertfordshire Constabulary spokeswoman said the collision took place “at around 6.30am on the westbound [anti-clockwise] carriageway between Junctions 22 and 21 and involved a black VW Passat which, for reasons unknown at this stage, collided with a barrier”.
Traffic queues formed from the Junction 22 to Junction 27.
