Witness appeal after woman attacked in Knebworth

A WOMAN was left with facial injuries after being attacked in Knebworth.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the assault in Station Road, on Monday last week.

The incident took place at 10.40pm when, following a row between a man and a woman, the woman was assaulted sustaining injuries to her face.

The woman then entered the Station Hotel pub to report the incident and a man followed.

Police later made an arrest.
