A RECRUITMENT company is holding an auction in support of its charity of the year.
Osborne Appointments, in Church Road, WGC, is offering the services of three of its top staff for a whole day free of charge to the highest bidder.
Osborne’s commercial director Martin Walker, operations manager Sallie Wilson and professional staffing consultant Laura Clark will be on hand to provide expert help, advice and, of course, a tea round, to whichever business pledges the most money to children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent by May 7.
Mr Walker said: “Whilst we will be conducting a number of fundraising events throughout the year, I thought this was the least we could do and an ideal opportunity to save the charity money on recruitment expenditure.
“Hopefully these savings will allow CLIC Sargent to spend more money on the children and their families.”
It is not the first time Osborne Appointments has helped sick children. Last month, staff visited the QE2 and Lister Hospitals and distributed Easter eggs to the children there.
