A MEETING with pop stars JLS, a visit to the set of hit show Sherlock or a trip to White Hart Lane with ex-Tottenham star Gary Mabbutt.

These are just some of the incredible prizes that will be up for grabs during a live auction at an annual village festival this weekend.

Brookmans Park Village Day takes place this Saturday, and is offering these exclusive prizes in a bid to raise money for Brookmans Park Primary School.

As well as the auction, the traditional fancy dress parade will take place at 12.45pm from the village green, but this year there’s a twist, as the parade is also a world record-breaking attempt to have the largest ever gathering of nursery rhyme characters.

English Civil war re-enactment society Colonel John Hampden’s Regiment of Foote will also be on hand, as they fire a cannon similar to one that was used during the 17th century conflict.

The village day is open to all, and entry costs 1 for adults and 50p for children.
