Will Welwyn Garden City's high ropes course ever open?

There is still no sign of an opening date for Welwyn Garden City's controversial high ropes course, which has never opened to the public.
The course, which had been due to open in June 2013, has been empty since a fall at a pre-opening event left a woman in her 40s with serious injuries.
Welwyn Hatfield Council has taken legal action against the company that built the facilty, Closer To The Edge, and operator Finesse Leisure.
The case will be heard in court on April 27.
The authority used £500,000 of public money to build the Stanborough Park course.
A council spokesman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “Discussions are ongoing regarding the future operation of the High Ropes course.
“As yet, no decision has been made regarding an opening date.”
