RAT Pack tunes echoed around the Howard Centre as an aspiring acoustic artist played some classic hits at a live gig for WGC shoppers.

Musician Sam Lewis was also offering his own festive single, Christmas Is Here, free in the WHT as part of a promotional offer when the paper was bought at WH Smith.

Our sister magazine, Hertfordshire Life, and goodies for the little ones were also on offer.

Zoe Porter, the WHT's circulation and promotions co-ordinator, said: "It was fantastic to be out in the Howard Centre, working with local businesses, meeting the local community and seeing everyone enjoy the entertainment on show.

"I really appreciate the hard work that went into the event from the Howard Centre, WH Smith and Hertbeat FM and wish Sam every success in his future work.

"It's great to see how well received the WHT is in the community, with many people taking time to express their passion for our campaigns and expressing their love for our newspaper.
