St Albans’ own festival extravaganza is just around the corner and if you haven’t already bagged your place, tickets are selling out fast.

But if you’re all set and ready to party, here is a snippet of what you have got to look forward to:

- Laser tag

Great communication skills will be needed to best your opponents in this real-life modern warfare game.

- Mazes

What’s the only thing that makes a giant Alice in Wonderland maze better? If there’s a cocktail bar at the centre.

There is also a smoke and curved mirror maze to immerse yourself in.

- Street performers

Reminiscent of London’s South Bank, dance troupes, stilt walkers, magicians and more will be scattered about entertaining the crowd off the stage.

- Zip line

Want an aerial view of the festival? Whizz down over everyone’s heads down the zip line.

- Cooling down

Let’s hope it’s a sunny weekend for the swimming pool and because the hot-tub won’t bubble itself.

- Relaxing

If chilling and winding down is the aim of your game, then the guided meditation sessions and hammock session will satisfy all needs.

Professional head, neck, and shoulder massages will be also be available.

- Flash mobs

Keep a look out for professional dancers instigating the group dance routines around the festival.

- Gaming

Who will be named Meraki’s festival gamer? There’s only one way to find out.

- Films

A movie theatre will be showing a range of genres all weekend, so kick back and enjoy the magic.

- Climbing wall

Beginners and masters will all enjoy this sporty addition to the festival.

- Virtual reality

With sand between your toes, cocktails in your hand, lounging in a deck chair, VR headsets can transport everyone on their own exotic holiday.

- Karaoki

Oh yes, it’s your time to shine.

- Silent disco

Everyone gets their own headset and can choose the music, but dancing together.
