TRADERS in Welwyn High Street have been deeply affected by the restoration of the historic 14th century pub The Wellington destroyed by a huge blaze.
Some shop owners are down by 30 per cent in turnover since work began on mending the gutted pub and restaurant, damaged by a fire on June 23.
The closure of Codicote Road and restricted parking is to blame for the loss in turnover.
