An inspirational woman has been commended by the Prime Minister for showing there is life after suffering a stroke.

Welwyn resident Sarah Scott, 25, has helped thousands after setting up a YouTube channel documenting her struggle to communicate after suffering a stroke aged 18.

She has received over 1,000,000 hits.

David Cameron has now named her ‘a Point of Light’, an award “recognising outstanding individual volunteers, people who are making a change in their community and inspiring others”.
