WHAT better way to enjoy an afternoon of fine eminent classical music with a performance by a group of talented musicians this weekend.
Tomorrow (Sunday), Classical Radiance in Song is on at St Mary's Church, in Church Street, Welwyn.
The programme includes music by Caccini, Handel, Purcell, Puccini, Johann Strauss and Welsh Folk Song.
Music will be performed by soprano Sara Hartley, pianist Scilla Stewart, harpist Rebecca Hooper and violinist Pia Jeppesen.
Sara, from Welwyn, told the Welwyn & Hatfield Times: "I'm very excited to be able to design this programme based on what I love and want to sing for my friends because usually my performance is dictated by the event.
"It's really liberating to be able to design a performance the other way around."
The concert starts at 2.30pm and finishes at approximately 3.15pm.
Tickets cost 8. To book call Hartley Voices on 0207 096 1637 or buy your ticket on the door.
