Welwyn Hatfield train disruption

Govia Great Northern trains are disrupted in Welwyn Hatfield today.

On the Great Northern website, it states that there is a fault with the signalling system at Welwyn Garden City.

The rail operator continues: “Train services running through this station may be delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 10am.

“There is a reported fault with the signalling system and Network Rail, who own and maintain the equipment have staff attending to effect repairs.

“Whilst this is ongoing, our services may be delayed or subject to alteration.

“Once the fault is repaired, we will be working to restore the train service to the normal timetable as quickly as possible.”
