PENSIONERS across Welwyn Hatfield have been telling the paper all about their experiences when World War Two broke out in preparation for our special 70th anniversary feature piece.
However here at the Welwyn & Hatfield Times we are still eager to hear more of the tales from that era.
Perhaps you were an evacuee, maybe you were called to service, you may remember what it was like at the time to hear that we was going to war or perhaps you were someone who helped out on these shores.
Or maybe you have grandparents that remember the outbreak on September 3.
