Schools across Welwyn Hatfield have dressed up for Children in Need.

Heroes and children’s favourite characters were seen all over Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield on their way to school this morning.

Howe Dell Primary School’s day care centre spent the day in their pyjamas, collecting donations from parents and the older pupils.

Oakmere Primary School enjoyed a day of non-school uniform, followed by a cake sale after school.

Meanwhile staff at Applecroft Primary school dressed up as heroes, along with the pupils of Peartree Primary School who turned up to school in the form of Batman and Robin.

Our Lady Catholic Primary School and Harwood Hill Junior Mixed Infant and Nursery School also got in on the action and dressed up as heroes for the day.
