Drunk and disorderly behaviour in Pond Croft, Hatfield, on October 14.

Conditional discharge for 12 months. Ordered to pay victim services £20.

Sue Wallace: 42, of Ashwood Road, Potters Bar.

Used threatening, insulting or abusive words or behaviour with intent to cause two police officers harassment, alarm or distress in Potters Bar on October 13.

Possession of a small amount of cannabis in Potters Bar on October 13.

Assaulted a PC in the execution of her duty in Potters Bar on October 13. Fined £110.

Ordered to pay victim services £30 and £85 court costs, plus compensation of £30.

Luke Ward: 30, of Peartree Lane, WGC.

Attempted to steal food from Tesco Express in Hitchin on October 26.

Stole a music centre worth £100 from Sainsbury’s in WGC on October 11.

Stole perfume from Debenhams worth £82 in WGC on September 24.

Stole perfume from Debenhams worth £133.50 in WGC on October 15.

The offences were committed while Ward was subject to a suspended sentence order made on August 30.

Magistrates considered the latest offences especially serious given that it was a “spree of offending” and Ward has previous convictions of a similar nature.

Jailed for 22 weeks.

Ordered to pay compensation to cover the cost of the stolen goods.

Richard Evans: 32, of The Firs, WGC.

Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order in that he failed to attend two appointments in September.

Order to continue.

Fined £240. Ordered to pay costs of £85.

Aaron Stockley: 29, of Cherry Way, Hatfield.

Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend two alcohol treatment requirement appointments in September.

Committed to prison for 26 weeks, suspended for 12 months.

He must also carry out an additional 14 hours’ unpaid work.

Ordered to pay £40 costs.

Ibukun Adebayo: 46, of Osborne Road, Potters Bar.

Drove a large goods vehicle or passenger carrying vehicle, namely a Porsche, in Potters Bar exceeding the speed limit on November 19, 2016.

Adebayo also exceeded the speed limit on December 11, 2016 in Potters Bar.

Fined £600.

Ordered to pay victim services £30 and costs of £85.

Four penalty points issued.

Kelly Smith: 34, of Northdown Road, Hatfield.

Stole handbags and scarves worth £239.95 from TK Maxx in Stevenage on November 1.

Jailed for 12 weeks concurrent.

Magistrates deemed the offence to be especially serious given that it had been committed while Smith was on licence and due to her previous convictions.

No compensation ordered due to immediate custody.

Kyle Marks: 19, of Lake View, Potters Bar.

Got on a train in Hatfield without having a valid ticket on February 1.

Paul Caulfield: 29, Kings Croft, WGC.

Assaulted a PC in the execution of his duty in Hatfield on October 18.

Used threatening, abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of someone likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress in Stevenage on October 18.

Community order made.

The defendant must have treatment for drug dependency as a non-resident for six months.

He must also take part in activity as directed by a responsible officer for up to 20 days. Ordered to pay compensation of £500, £85 to victim services and £85 court costs.
