A spokesman for the Safer Neighbourhood for Welwyn Hatfield has stated that youths acted in a ‘responsible manner’ this Halloween.

It has been reported that there was a very small amount of incidents where eggs were thrown.

Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Welwyn Hatfield, Jeff Scott, said: “I am pleased to say that incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour, related to Halloween were very low again this year across Welwyn Hatfield, with the vast majority of children and young people enjoying the evening and behaving in a responsible manner.

“We are very grateful for the support of the children’s parents as well as shops and other partners who worked with the Safer Neighbourhood Team, to make this a safe and pleasant event for the majority of our community.”
