A curry night was branded a “big success” after £527 was raised for the mayor’s charities.
Welwyn Hatfield mayor Howard Morgan held the event at Jaipur Indian Restaurant, Park Street, Hatfield, on February 24.
Cllr Morgan said: “It was a big success, it was well attended and they looked after us well.”
The cash will now be donated to Friendship House and the Jubilee House Care Trust.
