Residents filled the Green Lanes School hall last night for the final eight-week consultation on Welwyn Hatfield’s Local Plan.

Residents voiced their opinions during the consultation which will continue for the next eight-week’s before the final plan is sent to the Planning Inspectorate in spring 2017.

Following an objective assessment, the Government has demanded Welwyn Hatfield build roughly 13,000 houses by 2032, and the council has now approved sites across the borough to meet that target.
