ARMED Forces Day on Friday is to be marked across this week with events going on across Welwyn Hatfield. The borough council will be raising the Armed Forces flag in honour of soldiers past and present, at council offices at 10.30am today.

The borough council will be raising a Armed Forces flag in honour of soldiers past and present, at council offices at 10.30am today.
From today The Cowper Arms pub, in Letty Green, is also offering veterans a free bottle of Liberation Ale to mark the occasion.
