VOTING takes place across the country tomorrow (Thursday), with residents here in Welwyn Hatfield asked to choose their local councillor and mark their cross for or against the AV voting system.
The WHT’s election team has spoken to the candidates and has their views on this website as to why they deserve your vote, and pictures so you can put a face to a name too.
This year, in a break from tradition, counting will not take place immediately after polls close at 10pm on Thursday, but will begin on Friday morning.
From verification, which begins at 9am on Friday, right through to the announcement of Yes or No to AV, the WHT’s election team will be bringing you the results here at www.whtimes24.co.uk
