Welwyn Hatfield Council has started looking for a new chief executive, who will scoop up to £130k each year.
Current chief Michel Saminaden will step down next year, and the council has recently started advertising the vacancy online.
The full time position will require a “strong, forward thinking leader”, the advert reads, who has a “track record of outstanding achievement”, and will ideally hold a formal management qualification.
The closing date for applicants is December 9, before assessments on the week commencing January 2, informal meetings on January 11 and an interview during the week commencing January 16.
If you are interested in applying, more details are available on Welwyn Hatfield Council’s website.
