A TENANCY enforcement officer at Welwyn Hatfield Council will appear before magistrates tomorrow (Thursday) charged with assault.
Elaine Whitehead, of Barndicott, WGC, has been charged with assault occasioning GBH with intent, and assault occasioning ABH.
The 46-year-old was arrested in October following an incident in Barndicott.
She was charged on Friday, and will appear at Central Herts Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
A council spokeswoman told the WHT yesterday a member of staff, who was temporarily removed from her post pending an internal investigation, remained suspended.
