A FAMILY have been denied their dream home after a clerical error by Welwyn Hatfield Council.
Graham and Donna Macey were planning to move into a house in Broadwater Crescent, WGC, having bid for it in a council house allocation scheme.
But their hopes were dashed when the borough council admitted an "administrative error" - giving the semi-detached home to another family.
The father-of-one told the WHT: "It's a disgrace. This is so upsetting for us.
