A group of Welwyn Hatfield care service users got the chance to speak up about how they feel about their care.
Care Herts Limited held a service user lunch last week at the Attimore pub in Welwyn Garden City to celebrate the commencement of Herts Good Care week.
The lunch was attended by eight service users, five staff members and one member of staff from other providers.
Hertfordshire Care Providers Association CEO Sharon Davies and recruitment co-ordinator Nicole Johnson were also present and made the event an opportunity to discuss how people felt about their care.
Following the discussion, Sharon conducted a short opinion survey of service users.
Care Herts was first established in 2013 with an aim of providing inspirational care and support to the people who need it most in Welwyn Garden City, Welwyn, Hatfield, Welham Green, Woolmer Green and Knebworth.
A spokeswoman for Care Herts Limited said: “Everyone arrived promptly and were pleased to see so many familiar faces.
“Two of the service users asked if they could sit next to each other as they had become friends through the programme over the period.
“The food served was very good and all the service users said that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”
