A DIET and fitness instructor who helps others shed the pounds has gained another accolade.

Lindsey Peters was named a finalist in the Rosemary Conley Franchisee of the Year Awards.

The Panshanger woman, who was worked for the chain for nearly 15 years, runs classes in WGC, Ware and St Albans.

It is the third time Lindsey has been nominated in the category, even winning it outright in 2006.

Last year she was also the recipient of the special Rosemary Conley Award.

That was awarded for her pioneering work in developing Kids 2, a scheme to combat the growing obesity problems among children, which has been such a success it has been adopted as the company model.

Lindsey said she was thrilled to be recognised once again.

She said: "Running a Rosemary Conley club is incredibly rewarding and it is a terrific achievement to reach this stage in the awards.
