A TOT'S cherished piggy bank, with more than �100 of her life savings, was stolen during a raid on a family home.

The callous thief roamed just 10ft away from the sleeping two-year-old in the theft of "irreplaceable and sentimental" possessions from the WGC house in the early hours of Friday.

Mum-of-one Samantha Brownsell told today's Welwyn & Hatfield Times she now felt unsafe in her own home.
