A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy was shot with an air gun while playing in his parents’ back garden at the weekend.
The incident took place in Poundwell, WGC, at around 11.30am on Sunday.
A police spokeswoman said: “It is alleged a child, who was playing in his garden, was struck after a BB gun was fired by two children.
“Officers attended the address and spoke with the parents of the child, however they did not want to take the matter further.”
She added: “Officers from the neighbourhood team will, however, be making contact with the parents of the children who are believed to be involved.”
