LOCOMOTIVES and boats built by WGC engineers will be showcased at a prestigious exhibition.
But don’t expect whopping structures.
For the engines on show will be delicate models crafted by the WGC Society of Model Engineering.
The group’s work will be at the London Model Engineering Exhibition at Alexandra Palace from January 20-22, an event which attracts more than 15,000 model enthusiasts and top international experts.
Society spokesman Derek Attree said: “We are delighted to be showcasing our passion to visitors from all over the UK.
“It is wonderful to see so many people supporting the world of modelling and it is great to be able to prove that a local club from WGC can be so highly regarded.
“Our members come from all over the WGC area and it is a great way to meet people who are passionate about the same things you are.”
