THE fate of the former Shredded Wheat factory site on Broadwater Road, WGC will not be decided in October.

Welwyn Hatfield Council has delayed putting Tesco bosses plans for the area, which include a 50,000sq ft superstore, before councillors for at least a month while final technical submissions are reviewed.

It is not yet clear if the proposals will go before the planning committee on November 3, or December 1, although a spokesman said it would be heard this year.
