Welwyn Garden City teacher and Hatfield school up for awards

A TEACHER and a school from Times Territory are both up for prestigious awards. The East of England 2009 Teaching Awards recognises exceptional skill and dedication from teachers and staff at schools across eight counties.

The East of England 2009 Teaching Awards recognises exceptional skill and dedication from teachers and staff at schools across eight counties.

Elizabeth Paisley, from Lakeside School in WGC, has been short-listed for the special needs teacher of the year, while Howe Dell Primary school in Hatfield is nominated for the sustainable school award.

The awards ceremony is being held in Norwich on June 4.
