Hair and beauty students raised more than £200 for charity by providing treatments in return for a donation.

The Oasis hair and beauty salons at the WGC Campus of Oaklands College opened their doors recently and asked clients to pay for their treatments by way of a donation to the Isabel Hospice.

Visitors were treated to relaxing facials and hair treatments across two days, raising £235 for the Isabel Hospice, which provides specialist palliative care for local people.

Head of hair and beauty Sian Williams said: “It was fantastic to see our students helping to raise money for such a worthy cause.
